Chatfield's Cocoa Brownies
Makes 16 brownies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup turbinado sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 1/3 cup Chatfield's Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray a 9 inch square pan. With a mixer, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs, beat well. In a separate bowl stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Spread evenly into greased pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
